Legal use boundary
What rea.run will and will not help you do with REA.
Default posture
- REA runs locally against artifacts you supply. You are responsible for having the right to analyze them.
- We do not operate a upload-your-binary service on rea.run, and we do not endorse illegal use.
- Guides assume authorization: your builds, OSS under compatible licenses, malware in approved labs, or written permission.
“Can I reverse this commercial app?”
We do not publish how-tos for unauthorized reverse engineering of commercial software. Community channels occasionally ask about named closed products; those threads are demand signals for a boundary reminder — not lesson plans. We will not turn them into step-by-step attack recipes.
Clean-room / open companions
Learning patterns from public standards, open-source companions, or publisher-authorized SDKs is different from stripping protection on a proprietary binary you do not own. When in doubt, stop and get counsel or permission.
